Bead Blasting
Bead Blasting is normally used for the cleaning of
Stainless Steel and non ferrous components
(Aluminium, Brass, Copper etc) to produce a smooth
satin finish as opposed to a coarse matt finish which
would be generated by grit blasting.
This is achieved by the use of a very fine glass bead
under very carefully controlled conditions.
Typical applications would be, food or chemical processing
equipment, restoration of car and motor bike parts such as
cylinder heads and carburettors etc.
